Hello! I’m Nicki, an Illustrator based in Birmingham. My artwork is inspired by my passion for patterns found in the natural world and wildlife. I am particularly fascinated by exploring intricate textures and organic lines. Through experimentation of the use of light, shadow, as well as positive and negative space, it helps me create rhythm and a narrative to my work.

I specialize in using a black and white palette for my illustrations but occasionally I enjoy experimenting colours. I use a variety of techniques but I enjoy using dip ink pens, screen printing, and digital art the most. Through my practice combining techniques helps me create my unique pattern work. I love experimenting with mediums which allows me the opportunity to consistently explore and and refine my style with every drawing
