Hi, my name is Nicole and I’m in my final year studying Single Honours Illustration at the University of Worcester. I specialise in black and white ink illustration and printmaking, with a strong focus on pattern, texture, and light and dark space. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world, and I enjoy creating a sense of flow within my work, guiding the viewer’s eye around the composition.

What does fantasy mean to me?

Fantasy to me is all about dreams. I love the idea that fantasy can be anything you want it to be limitless, strange, and wonderful. It offers an escape into the impossible, stepping away from everyday reality and into imagined worlds. I find joy in immersing myself in the creation of places and ideas that could never truly exist and just allowing imagination to take complete control.
